Co-Brew Cafe
What if your favorite cafe offered a reserved workspace and a meal ready to enjoy when you arrived?

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Co-Brew Cafe was a typical cafe looking to enhance its appeal and better serve its customers, particularly remote workers and busy professionals. The owner wanted to create an environment that not only offered quality food but also catered to the needs of individuals seeking a productive space.
The cafe needed to evolve into a space that provided convenience, comfort, and a unique experience, addressing the requirements of a modern, on-the-go clientele.
Also there were young adults who wanted to come to the cafe and work - freelancers or work from home employees.
ROLE AND DURATION
Research, Idea generation, Design , Prototyping
June,2023 - August,2023- Mumbai, India
How might we create a cafe environment where customers can seamlessly reserve workspaces and preorder meals, making it easier for busy professionals and remote workers to stay productive and well-fed?
IDEATION PROCESS-
Defining the Topic: Started with the central idea, “Cafes in 15 Years,” focusing on future trends in technology and user experience.
Individual Contributions: Each team member added their own ideas and concepts around themes like technology integration, customer experience, and workspace evolution.
Voting with Sticky Notes: Team members used colored sticky notes (best, better, okay) to vote on the most promising ideas.
Solution Discovery: The most-voted ideas led to the development of the co-working + cafe hybrid with pre-ordering, hidden within other future-forward concepts.
SOLUTION STATEMENT
Busy professionals and remote workers need spaces that combine productivity with convenience, but traditional cafes don’t meet these needs. Co-Brew Cafe sought to create an environment where customers could easily work and enjoy quality meals in a more engaging and efficient way.
Big Picture Storyboard
LOW FIDELITY PROTOTYPE
Using the completed set of digital wireframes, I created a low-fidelity prototype. The primary user flow I connected was building and ordering a pizza, so the prototype could be used in a usability study.
USABILTY STUDY FINDINGS
Conducted two rounds of usability studies. Findings from the first study helped guide the designs from wireframes to mockups. The second study used a high-fidelity prototype and revealed what aspects of the mockups needed refining.

TAKEAWAYS
Impact
The app makes users feel like co-brew café really thinks about how to meet their needs.
One quote from peer feedback:
“The app made it so easy and fun to order a coffee and book a co- working space for myself ! I would definitely use this app.
What I learned:
While designing the Co-brew café app, I learned that the first ideas for the app are only the beginning of the process. Usability studies and peer feedback influenced each iteration of the app’s designs.
Next steps - This is more of a conceptual project, Many iteration in mobile UI were made
